Giornalismo dell'innovazione: una definizione

Secondo un report finlandese del 2007 dal titolo Innovation, Journalism and Future il giornalismo dell'innovazione deve combinare i metodi e gli approcci del giornalismo economico, tecnologico e scientifico, ma non solo.

Innovation journalism is the journalism of progress or change. It covers all Future Work of society, whether it is technological, social or artistic by nature. In reality, there is no technological change that is not
social and cultural at the same time. Future Work is a concept that refers to all those processes that explicitly try to define the future path of society. (pg. 23)

La questione più interessante dal punto di vista teorico è se il giornalismo del futuro è il giornalismo dell'innovazione.
